Proximal Tibia - Minimally Invasive Locking Plate

PBA MIS TIBIA is an internal fixation system that incorporates the osteosynthesis principles to treat the proximal fractures of the tíbia in a minimally invasive fashion.

It uses a non-traumatic insertion technique, offering minimal contact with the bone in the interface between the plate and the bone.

Indications:
- Fixation of proximal tibia fractures
- Extra-articular fractures
- Intra-articular fractures
- Fractures with sinking of the plateau
- Fractures of the plateau associated to fractures of the diaphysis.

Vantages:
- It has an internal guide allowing the insertion of a minimally invasive plate, assuring that all screws are in their right place and blocked to the plate.
- It keeps minimal contact with the periosteum, preserving blood supply to the bone and preserving its biology.  
- It works like an internal fixation device increasing mechanic stability.
- It decreases the consolidation time and the post-operative complications.
