Dynafix Titanium
DYNAFIX is a system used to stabilize the lumbo-sacral spine. The device must be implanted in the interspinous space, maintaining partial mobility at the fixed level and reducing forces on the posterior joints.
The device implantion results in openning the foramen, lordosis partial alteration, and restauring the intervertebral disc function.

INTENDED USE:
- Unstable spine;
- Disc hernia at one or more levels;
- Recurrent disc hernia;
- Degenerative or iatrogenic disc disease;
- Lumbar stenosis;
- Chronic and untreatable lumbar pain due to Facet Joint Syndrome;
- Chronic and untreatable lumbar pain due to disc disfunction and,
- Conditions affecting L5-S1 level (both from facet or disc origin).

SPECIAL USE:
- Biomechanical compensation at arthrodesis adjacent levels and,
- Facet arthrosis.

ADVANTAGES:
- Safe, quick and cost effective procedure;
- Partial mobility;
- Reduced forces on posterior joints;
- Hyperlordosis is reduced;
- The foramen is kept opened;
- Adjacent disc degeneration is prevented;
- Future surgical options on the treated segment and,
- Possibility of implantation at L5-S1 level.
- Retains all capsule-synovial elements re-aligning joint fibres.
- Forces relief on the disc due to intradiscal pressure reduction.
- Prevention of disc overload and arthrodesis adjacent facet syndrome.
